Ducky Yard Sale
Want to give your merch a new home? Fell out of love with a fandom? Are you ready to get rid of all your regrets? The Ducky’s Yard Sale registration is now open!
So start labelling your goodies and get ready for the Yard Sale.
Read the information in the post and in the form carefully to ensure a successful participation. Happy selling!
New since 2026!
This year our volunteer app developer included barcodes on the labels. We're always looking to improve and also to reduce the huge waiting queues and make handling and check out easier for both volunteers and staff. After handing in the list, we will email you a list of your labels including barcode! Please print these and use them to label your items. You can still label everything yourself of course and we can still process items the old way! Especially if items are small, or you don't have a printer at hand.
We've moved! Ya'll are just too good with all your stuff! To accommodate our Yard Sale growth, we've moved to the Hawk Arena (... no we weren't kicked out for the maid cafe there! We left by our own volition, promise!).
More details:
Registration is open until August 16th 2026. We can’t accept your registration after the date. Read the instructions on the form carefully and make sure to fill in everything.
It’s handy if we can contact you during the con, let us know your contact details, such as a phone number or Discord.
Some rules though:
We don’t accept bootlegs and neither do we accept AI merch. If we see one, we will notify you and remove it from the pile. You can come pick it up.
We don't accept items without packaging. Without packaging your items can get damaged.
Label everything correctly. We do our best, but we can’t know every anime or video game, so please make sure to label your goodies.
You decide whether someone can try on a cosplay, shirt, hoodie, etc.
And some stuff you’d find in the small print:
VienCon is not liable for damage or theft. We do our best, but you leave your things at your own risk.
Participation in the Yard Sale costs 10% of your earnings to cover (transaction) costs and some volunteer lunches.
We keep your details until all deposits have been made.
Labeling your items
After submitting your sign-up form you will receive a PDF-file from us with barcodes. Print these out and stick them on the corresponding items from your itemlist. We will not be able to print and stick them on for you, so please do so in time!
Don’t have a printer? No worries, you can also label them yourself. You can stick labels on your items with the label code that corresponds to the Itemlist you've submitted.
For each item on your sign-up form you'll need to write out the label code with the price. Attach it to the corresponding item. Please make sure to use labels/stickers that last and do not use the same code for multiple items.

FAQ
Visitors
Can I pay with pin or cash?
💶💳 We take both cash and card. For visitors outside of the Netherlands: if your card works in Dutch shops, then we can take your card.
Can I try on the costume?
That totally depends on the seller. Some people put their contact info on the package if you have further questions.
Can I haggle?
No. You can’t for two reasons: 1) it’s not our stuff to discount, and 2) we have all items with their prices listed in our systems and can’t change this during the con.
That being said, feel free to contact the seller to make a deal with them if their contact information is provided.
Participants
How do I label/code my items?
Use the first two letters of your first and last name, your cottage number and the item number. For example: Pete Shmete, cottage nr 123, item 1 will be PeSh123-1. Please make sure to use labels/stickers that last and do not use the same code for multiple items.
Can I pick up my things earlier?
Yeah, of course! You're free to pick up your things whenever you want on Sunday or if you really need to leave earlier, then sooner. Just let us know beforehand and don't be late.
Do I really need to pack all my things in plastic?
No, you don't. However, it does help with labelling things and it keeps things nice and clean in case someone spills anything or has dirty hands. Viencon isn't liable for damage or dirt or whatever to your things.
How do I pack my costumes?
It’s great to recycle your cosplays! We recommended packing your costume in a plastic bag you get from the store and to provide a printed image of said cosplay with clear measurements.
If you want people to get in touch for questions, don’t forget to leave your contact info, like your Instagram (nothing too personal!). And don’t forget to add whether people can try the cosplay on or not.
Why do you need to know my full name, etc?
Because we’re sending you your money and we can’t send deposits to LoneW0lfGamerXx.
