Create your own piece of summer festival lightning!

Last year a little too successful for its own good, this year the lantern workshop is back, better and brighter for your Viencon nights! Paper lanterns are symbols of hope, good fortune, and community in many Asian festivals and of course a beautiful addition to your nightly cosplay pictures. Join our Lantern Decorating Workshop on Friday night and decorate your own paper lantern!

Do you want to go classic with calligraphy, or try your hand at watercolor painting, or maybe build one of the Viencon mascots with paper? We provide various crafting materials and can teach you the basics of calligraphy and how to tie lucky charms to complete your lantern.
